Introduction & Principle

Sawdust rotary dryer is the best choice for drying high-moisture biomass raw materials and producing high-quality biomass fuel. After the biomass raw materials are dried, the biomass combustion efficiency can be improved and emissions can be reduced. It can be used to dry sawdust, wood chips, straw, bagasse, wood shavings and all kinds of agricultural wastes, low energy consumption and high drying efficiency. Sawdust dryer is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, construction, mining and other industries. After the material is quickly dried, it can be further processed into fuels such as biomass pellets or biomass briquettes using molding equipment.

Configuration

Sawdust dryer consist of a heating furnace, feeding port, drum, filter drum, conveying pipe, cooling drum, and discharging port. Sawdust is fully dried in the rotary drum and gets separated again before entering the conveying pipe for further drying. The baffler can keep the impurities out of the conveying pipe and ensures the high quality of dried sawdust. With the combined work of rotary drum and injection pipe, wet materials are fluidized and fully contacted with the hot flow.
