Raw material collection and pretreatment: Collect sawdust raw materials, such as processing scraps and forestry residues, pay attention to quality control, and avoid impurities. Sawdust needs to be crushed into uniform particles (a few millimeters to more than ten millimeters) for easy drying and pelletizing.

Drying stage: Use a sawdust dryer (such as hot air or drum drying) to remove moisture. The drying temperature is generally 100-300℃, depending on the type of sawdust and moisture content. The goal is to reduce the moisture content to 10%-20%.

Pelletizing stage: The dried sawdust is fed into the pelletizer and extruded into pellets through rollers and ring dies. The particle diameter is usually 6mm or 8mm. A small amount of binder (such as starch or lignin) can be added to increase the molding rate. After pelletizing, the pellets need to be cooled, usually by air cooling to room temperature, for easy storage and transportation.
